Our Self Catering Holiday Cottages
Waggoner’s & Shepherd’s cottages at Bessingby Holiday Cottages are our two beautiful self catering properties to suit a well needed short break away.
Our accommodation is fully equipped to suit self catering needs & both cottages provide a home from home feeling; we are confident you won’t be without whilst staying with us. Our holiday cottages are located in the quiet village of Bessingby on the East Coast of Yorkshire, we are only a 5 minute drive or a refreshing 2 mile walk from the popular & award winning seaside town of Bridlington.
Our Cottages
Waggoner’s Cottage
A ground floor cottage with open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area; one double bedroom and one with twin beds, bathroom with shower over, washbasin and WC.
Shepherd 's Cottage
A ground floor cottage with open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area; one double, one twin and one single bedroom, bathroom with shower over and separate WC.
Outside Space
There is an ample car park with plenty of room for you to park 2/3 cars for yourselves, your friends or family.
There is automatic lighting in the car park, down the paths and over your front door.
We provide a complimentary wheelbarrow to carry your luggage/shopping from the car park to your front door!
Alternatively, we will be glad to offer assistance in carrying your luggage – please just ask.
Each cottage has its own garden and lawn, equipped with garden furniture and a barbeque is available on request. There is an additional large shared space which is great for ball games and running around. Here you will find the swings and slide; a patio with furniture so you can watch the kids play in comfort, a woodland path with a variety of tree swings ideal for your little monkeys! Paddling pools, buckets and spades are provided in the garden boxes. All perfect for outdoor holiday activities!
The gardens are well stocked and often attract a lot of wildlife – look out for barn owls, pheasants, hares, and deer, and even one year a peacock!
