Keeping safe at Bessingby Holiday Cottages
during coronavirus (COVID-19)

Under the circumstances brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have gone to great measures to protect our guests, staff, visitors and our local community. We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and shared the results with the people who work here.   We have cleaning, handwashing and hygiene protocols in line with current guidance.  You may request copies if you would like to see these by email or when you visit.

To make thorough cleaning more efficient, where possible we have temporarily removed from use some unnecessary non-essential high touch items such as jigsaws, games, and toys. We have left you with the just the minimum amount of kitchen crockery and utensils that should be sufficient for your stay.

We realise this is quite utilitarian, and so if you would like anything extra (such as a blanket, extra crockery, cutlery or anything else) please feel free to ask for it. We have most things that you may need.

We are sorry we will not to be able to greet you in person or show you round your cottage. There is useful information in a folder in your cottage and hopefully everything is self-explanatory.  Although we will be maintaining our social distance during your visit, we are very approachable and so would encourage you contact us by ringing us (07738 564856) or by popping down the path and knocking on The Granary door if you need any help or information.

Below is the timetable for the lifting of restrictions.

Even though some activities may not be available to you there is still plenty to keep to you entertained while you are here.  Please look at our Things to Do page.

We hope enjoy your stay,

Best wishes,
Jan and Andrew Warner
